HALO

HALO hangs on the wall from a leather strap. The light source sits in a ring of solid timber, and the strap that carries the ring is also what controls it — there is no dimmer on the cord and no switch on the wall. Draw the strap down on the right and the ring turns and the light rises; draw it down on the left and the light falls away, down to nothing and off. Setting the light becomes something you do with your hand rather than something you click.

Handmade in ash, walnut or oak. Also available in a wall-switch version.

BALANCE

BALANCE is a suspension lamp that never looks quite the same twice. How it hangs, how the arms settle, how it fills the room — all of that is decided when it is installed. The lamp is set up to find its own equilibrium, and you choose where that point sits.

Available in 3, 5, 7 and 9-light versions. Brushed brass or black.

HALO MIRROR

HALO MIRROR is the same idea turned into a mirror: a lit ring on the wall with the control hidden inside it. Turn the mirror clockwise to bring the light up, counter-clockwise to dim it down and switch it off. Nothing to press, nothing on the wall beside it.

Handmade in ash, walnut or oak. Available at 600 mm (23.6”) and 900 mm (35.4”)

PUCK collection / Wall lamp

PUCK is one form worked through a family of lamps — a small wall light, a longer one, and a floor version. The same piece can light a hallway on its own, run in a row down a long wall, or stand on the floor beside a chair.

Available in oak or walnut, or in metal. Head and base Ø80 × 35 mm (Ø3.1" × 1.4"). Wall lamp 852 mm (33.5"), projection 180 mm (7.1"). Small wall lamp 350 mm (13.8"). Floor lamp 1250 mm (49.2").

FORESTER

The inspiration for the Forester comes from a group of trees or a forester. The lamp is composed of pipes attached to a base. The pipes are linked to the base by a ball bearing. This is done to further enhance the usability of the lamp by allowing the user to simply move the pipes in all directions to suit changing needs for illumination.

Available in 3, 5, 7, and 9-light. In brushed brass, copper, and black.

SUNRISE / SUNSET

SUNRISE / SUNSET works the way its name does. The glass rides up and down the wall, and its height is the light: raise it and the light grows, lower it and it dims away until it goes out. There is no switch and no dial — one movement covers the whole range, from full light to nothing.

A wall lamp in hand-blown glass, on a 500 mm (19.7”) track.

REFRACTION LAMP

REFRACTION lights the wall rather than the room. Steel is polished to a mirror finish and then folded, and every fold takes the light and sends it somewhere slightly different. What lands on the wall is not one pool of light but a set of broken planes, and it shifts as you move past it.

Mirror-polished folded steel, 100 × 100 mm (3.9” × 3.9”).
